In true “Parade” style, some 1,400 employees were welcomed to the Dutch Government’s “Congrestival.” The event—organized for, by, and of the employees—featured a vibrant program with surprising breakout sessions. Colleagues had the opportunity to get to know one another better, actively engage with the innovations the organization stands for, and head home with a healthy dose of inspiration.

A vibrant program

Lights out, laser show on! The day kicked off with a sea of colorful lasers in the Copraloods. With a schedule in hand, visitors mapped out their own route through the Congrestival after the opening. Not only the main square, but also the breakout sessions were buzzing with colleagues networking.

Out-of-the-box workshops, djembe sessions, and adrenaline-pumping activities at Prison Island made for a varied program. Here, visitors were given extra challenges, such as questions about the company—like the office’s full address—and puzzles based on images.

Short on ears and eyes

Cheers to a successful day! To wrap up the day in style, Stuart drove the “ ” Foodtrain in with bottles of Prosecco. The guests popped the bottles together, and 1,400 colleagues raised their glasses. Those who weren’t ready to go home yet were in luck: the next spectacle was already waiting.

De Perserij was transformed into a true festival grounds. Here, visitors could sing along in the Party Caravan, capture the evening in the photo booth, and enjoy the aromas wafting from ten food stalls. The festivalgoers didn’t have a moment to be bored.
