Princess Máxima Center

A welcome featuring personal high-fives, a cheerful Hawaiian lei, and a sparkling glass of prosecco in green, blue, yellow, or red: the Princess Máxima Center’s colorful anniversary celebration kicked off in a festive atmosphere! Over 1,000 guests enjoyed the artisanal food stands, the Bennie Solo Bingo Show, and a guest performance by Son Mieux, among other things. All in keeping with the theme: Hi 5 & Multicolor.

Celebrating five years together

A colorful celebration, organized for and by the Princess Máxima Center: on June 5, the center marked the fifth anniversary of the opening of the pediatric oncology research hospital. New colleagues were welcomed, existing colleagues were thanked for their dedication, and everyone came together to celebrate reconnecting after the pandemic.

‍Multicolor & Hi 5

The theme was brought to life in all sorts of creative ways. “Hi 5” symbolizes high-level collaboration and five years of unity. “Multicolor” stands for diversity.

The evening began with a performance in which enthusiastic staff members formed an enchanting arch using 800 colored LED sticks. Other guests swirled through it. Signs with slogans such as “Diversity makes us better!” and a tongue-in-cheek “I do drugs” (on behalf of the Máxima Pharmacy) emphasized a sense of togetherness. Miss Bunty’s singing along to Son Mieux’s “Multicolor” track added an extra dimension to the atmosphere.

All the artists, entertainers, and staff at De Fabrique, together with more than 1,000 Máxima employees, were one. You don’t get to experience that very often—what a fantastic and unforgettable evening!”
