Dell Technologies Forum also included the Netherlands in the world tour of their business roadshow! An extensive exhibition with interesting stands and spectacular keynote sessions. Infotainment women enthusiastically walked around to explain everything about the event to the guests in a welcoming manner. And in the evening program? The partners enjoyed a delicious dinner and an award show entirely in the Studio 54 theme (the well-known nightclub in NYC).

About the event

Dell Technologies Forum is the event where innovative minds in technology come together and share information to break boundaries and inspire big ideas.

From laser shows to VR games

The fair is filled with VR games against cybercrime, silent disco headphones, and various game installations. The opening act starts with a sensational laser show and a dancer who dances in sync with the laser beams. After the dance, Isabel Moll-Kranenburg, the current General Manager of Dell, reappears at the front in the same outfit: a spectacular welcome. Locally, Dell Netherlands is building an Innovation Village, featuring Dutch Start-ups and Scale-ups, AI Solutions, and other IT Solutions. Expo Flora is providing fantastic decoration for this.

Four hours of content will also be streamed from the studio, ranging from plenary sessions to interviews from the green room. The closing act of the fair will also be special, featuring illusionist and non-practicing physician Victor Mids. You could even win a meet & greet with him during the event!

Human technology

In addition to all the demos, innovative sessions, and even an exclusive business lounge for important discussions between partners, there is something else special happening during the fair. Nils Roemen, Experience Designer at Experience Experts, talks about the experiential layer they are adding to the event:

“We have created an experience for guests based on the question: ‘What will happen when AI is based on digital systems and no longer on the human dimension?’. They will have to add their own human dimension.”

First, the chosen ones puzzle their way through a check-in procedure involving hand and iris scans, before stepping into a large server room through the mysterious door to Silo 0 and adding their human touch to the big cloud. The server begins to vibrate intensely from all the human inspiration. In this way, the guests have saved the world from AI destruction, and the message reads: "Thanks for your help, you added human spirit to AI."

And then? The trailer for the entire experience will be shown in the event's final show. What was it like to do this at DeFabrique? Nils replies enthusiastically:

DeFabrique is a celebration. We work here frequently and extensively, and I feel like a child here. It is as if you are going outside to play and want to climb on everything. It is impressive because the people at DeFabrique have the right focus. I see every problem that arises being resolved. It is a true playground!
