Chaos in Order-2

Chaos in the Order was created by Huis van Vernieuwing and Huis van Verbeelding. Rachel Levi, owner of both creative companies, aims to make organizations more creative and innovative at their very core. They train people to become Creative Changemakers and guide teams in adopting a creative approach to organizational culture change. And at Chaos in the Order, you’ll learn all of that!

Imagination & Innovation

Chaos in the Order is the premier work festival for fresh-eyed observers and unconventional thinkers in organizations, and its fifth edition took place once again at DeFabrique. A refreshing whirlwind of creativity set against a colorful, jungle-inspired nature theme. This unique innovation safari features engaging speakers, interactive workshops, and groundbreaking sessions. An adventure for everyone, designed to foster connections, boost creativity, and put these ideas into practice in the workplace.

A spectacular kickoff

Hundreds of vibrant, creative individuals, dressed in colorful outfits, are ready for the opening act. From leopard prints to the full spectrum of the rainbow, and from healthcare workers to educators. Everything exudes innovation, change, and creativity. As if stepping into a living, interactive work of art, you experience the humorous and inspiring opening act by Rachel Levi and ZieZus. Step out of your comfort zone, the message goes, but Levi also shares what “coloring outside the lines” has already brought her. All to shake up the flamboyant guests and get their creative spirits bubbling. The message is clear and is enthusiastically received by the guests: “Be open to change”!

Workshops that get you moving

From surprising workshops to inspiring lectures: with refreshing and practical tips, guests have the opportunity to meet like-minded people, exchange experiences, and connect. They also gain tools for holding shorter, more concise, and more playful meetings, practice Socratic questioning, and learn how nature can help them solve complex challenges in their work. Personal reflection is incorporated into a mirror maze; questions are asked and answered to foster connections and spark thought, and an environment rich in visuals and sound offers an experience that transports people to another world. The creative catering also aligns with the out-of-the-box theme, featuring edible flower pots, vegan oysters, and Cauliflower Power. Everything is designed to get guests out of their comfort zone! It’s another edition of surprising and innovating in creative ways—exactly what DeFabrique loves to do.

Anges Verschuren
Chaos in Order

"This is already our fifth year with DeFabrique, but we're far from bored. With every edition, we find new ways to utilize their spaces and keep our guests surprised. It's a puzzle every time, but together with DeFabrique, we always achieve a fantastic result!"

Event Producer

"I listen and watch with admiration as Huis van Verbeelding comes up with new ideas for their 'Chaos in the Order' event time and time again. It’s inspiring to see how they weave a theme like 'nature' throughout their entire concept. It’s contagious and a challenge to contribute to this creative process. From real grass mats at the venue to edible flower pots, a speaker dressed as a caterpillar that transforms into a butterfly, and a maze of mirrors for self-reflection."
