Geostick
Receiving a royal honor—that doesn’t happen every day. Geostick is celebrating its 100th anniversary, and it deserves a grand event! In a festive atmosphere, steeped in royal tradition, colleagues come together to celebrate this special milestone. With a variety of snacks and drinks, a spectacular entrance by the “royal couple” in a bright orange Porsche, and a festive evening that concluded with the Dutch national anthem as a tribute to a century of success and collaboration—this evening was unforgettable!
Geostick is a family-owned business with a rich history dating back to 1924. This organization specializes in the production of self-adhesive labels, flexible packaging, and the provision of printing and labeling solutions. The company continues to evolve, featuring state-of-the-art (digital) machinery and innovative printing techniques.
Partying like kings and queens
It felt like a fairy tale: a company party that immersed everything and everyone in a regal atmosphere. With 220 guests and a grand celebration, this was no ordinary company party. Geostick closed its doors for a day to throw a royal-themed party, complete with lookalikes of King Willem-Alexander, Queen Máxima, and attendants.
Everything took place in a single atmospheric space, where the food, entertainment, and party atmosphere complemented one another. While everyone was enjoying the snacks and drinks, caricaturists sketched colleagues on beer coasters, and IJsco Ali, the magician ice cream man, brought a smile to everyone’s face. Musically, it was a hit as well: the energetic ladies of “Dames Draaien Door,” complete with a vocalist and saxophonist, effortlessly filled the dance floor.
The icing on the cake was a cocktail bar serving drinks like the Geostick Sour—a twist on the Amaretto Sour. One thing is certain: Geostick employees partied like kings and queens that evening.
Orange from start to finish
During this anniversary celebration, everything was decked out in orange: an orange carpet, Aperol Spritz as a welcome drink, and employees in orange outfits—complete with orange socks and temporary tattoos to foster the ultimate team spirit. The decorations, provided by JAN Verhuur, enhanced the royal atmosphere. Even the “royal couple” arrived in an orange Porsche. As a grand finale, everyone stood side by side to sing the Wilhelmus at the top of their lungs, a tribute to a century of collaboration and success.

Working with Tamara from DeFabrique was a real pleasure. She took a proactive approach to helping us create a fantastic, royal-themed party for our colleagues. Everyone also danced and sang along enthusiastically to the music from “Dames Draaien Door!”
made for an unforgettable experience.

It was a wonderful experience to be part of a 100th-anniversary celebration and to organize such a special event. It’s not every day that a client receives a royal honor. What I appreciated most about this collaboration was Geostick’s enthusiasm and trust. This allowed us to take full charge of the organization. We were quickly on the same page, which made everything go very smoothly. It was great to make this event a success, together with our partners.
