Summer Fever

As soon as you walked in, your winter blues melted away like snow in the sun, because four stages made for a heartwarming first edition. Summer lovers were in heaven! The sultry tunes from Def Rhymz, DIO, Fresku, and others drifted your way from the tropical stage and the main stage. So did the palm trees and flamingos, by the way, because Kalvermelk 1 had been transformed into a tropical garden. Wasn’t that summery enough? A quick visit to the tanning bed would top up your daily dose of vitamin D in no time. Were those Christmas jitters starting to creep up on you? No problem. In Silo 0, you could belt out Christmas hits at karaoke, but of course, you could also dance the night away and sing along to cheesy hits in the après-ski bar. For a brief moment, you were the star.

Calling all adrenaline junkies!

Did your feet hurt from dancing? You’d forget all about that the moment you saw the roller disco. It was all about twirling, swaying, rolling, and gliding. This is where your dance moves were really put to the test. The Leuke Winterfestival had added something else cool to the schedule: laser tag. At what other festival do you see that? Winning was more important than just participating in the laser tag arena. Grab your gun and let’s go.
