Spring Fair

SPAR Trade Show

With no fewer than 164 booths and a peak power consumption of 980,000 watts per hour, this year’s SPAR Spring Fair was bigger than ever. Visitors could sample food and drinks and learn about the latest products. The 1,200-meter-long route across the exhibition floor, designed in the colors and shape of a track and field runway, revealed the theme: SPAR is raising the bar.

The bar keeps getting higher

Entertainer Huub Hangop welcomed the guests wearing a tracksuit and with a whistle around his neck. He encouraged visitors to raise the bar this year together with SPAR. DeFabrique was happy to join in by dismantling the entire go-kart track and converting it into an exhibition floor where 164 booths were on display. The routing through the venue was perfectly in keeping with the atmosphere: the numbers on the track referenced the warehouse where the guests were located.

Food and drink in the right atmosphere

To quickly provide the 1,000 guests and exhibitors in attendance with food and drinks, food corners were set up in various locations. Our partner, JAN Verhuur, decorated these areas with an inviting beach-themed interior and even built a cozy pub.

Mariëlle Witjes
Marketing Manager at SPAR

“For us, the SPAR Spring Fair is the perfect opportunity to take our business owners away from their daily routines and inspire them in a unique setting. DeFabrique—both as a venue and, especially, thanks to its team—enables us to truly achieve this goal. As a result, every year we can look back on a successful event for both the organizers and the visitors.”

“The SPAR Spring Fair is a wonderful event with a large exhibition floor. The 1,000 guests enjoyed free parking and, after a few encouraging words from Huub Hangop, made their way across the track to the inspiring booths.”
